Kathleen Mary „Kathy“ Griffin (* 4. November 1960) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Model, Stand-up-Comedian, Fernsehpersönlichkeit, Bestsellerautorin der New York Times und Aktivistin für LGBT-Rechte. Bekannt wurde Griffin zunächst durch Gastauftritte in zwei Folgen von „Seinfeld“ und später durch ihre Nebenrolle in der NBC-Sitcom „Suddenly Susan“. Sie war der Star der Bravo-Reality-Show „Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List“, für die sie als ausführende Produzentin zwei Emmy Awards gewann. Neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Sprecherin und Kommentatorin auf dem roten Teppich verfolgt sie diverse weitere Karrierewege.
