Bill Irwin
William Mills Irwin (geboren am 11. April 1950) ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler, Choreograf, Clown und Komiker. Er begann als Vaudeville-Bühnenkünstler und ist bekannt für seinen Beitrag zur Wiederbelebung des amerikanischen Zirkus in den 1970er-Jahren. Er trat mehrfach in Film und Fernsehen auf und gewann einen Tony Award für seine Rolle in „Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?“. Außerdem arbeitete er als Choreograf am Broadway und wurde 1989 für „Largely New York“ für den Tony Award für die beste Choreografie nominiert. Er ist auch als Mr. Noodle im „Sesame Street“-Segment „Elmo’s World“ bekannt und trat im „Sesame Street“-Kurzfilm „Does Air Move Things?“ auf. Regelmäßig war er als Dr. Peter Lindstrom in „Law & Order: Special Victims Unit“ zu sehen und hatte eine wiederkehrende Rolle als „The Dick & Jane Killer“ in „CSI: Crime Scene Investigation“.
